“To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, and kindness.

What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places — and there are so many — where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.”  - Howard Zinn
I’m a woman of many desires and  a woman of passion. I’m a woman of soul and a woman with real emotions. I have a heart, a heart so big, it can fill the entire world with compassion. I hate to hate; sometimes I do hate until I realise that hating is foolish and mama did not raise no fool. I’m a woman of love; I love to love but loving is not easy. Whether it’d be family, friends, or partners, loving is a 24-hour job. But most of all, I’m a woman of HOPE.

Hope is my fuel, my breath, my ammunition, my safeguard, my means against everything that is wrong in this world such as despair, hurt, anger, pessimism, sadness and loss. Here is what I hope for.

I hope for good days to come
I hope for happiness
I hope for clarity
I hope for maturity
I hope for wisdom
I hope for answers to unanswered questions
I hope for faith
I hope for beauty
I hope for brains
I hope for laughter and true friendships
I hope for love and real relationships
I hope for success
I hope for achievement
I hope for the little things that make us happy
I hope for life
But most of all, I hope for hope.
I’m a persistant person, mainly because I’m hopeful. So I will keep on hoping until I can hope no more. – Ayan
